Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. Poor Connector Connection
  2. Short to Ground in IAT Signal Circuit
  3. Faulty IAT Sensor
Enable Condition
  • Battery voltage higher than 6 V and lower than 16 V
  • No relevant DTC present
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage is lower than 0.05V
  • Short to ground
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
