DTC Information And Inspection: DTC Detecting Condition

Trouble Shooting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Current monitoring
  1. Poor connection
  2. Short to ground in circuit of SBW actuator (overcurrent)
  3. Faulty SBW actuator
  4. Faulty SCU
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON" or engine "ON"
  • Battery voltage is above 10V
Threshold Value
  • If the feedback current is more than 8A
Detecting Time
  • 5s
Fail Safe
  • Before DTC determination: keep previous signal
  • After DTC determination
    • Maintain current stage, display SBW system warning message when requesting D/n/r stage
    • P-level request: EPB signing request/parking warning
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
