Vehicles have many control units that consume large amount of electricity. These units control each system based on information from various sensors. It is important to have a stable power supply as these sensors collect diverse information.

Battery sensor (A) is mounted on battery (-) terminal to transmit battery voltage, current, and temperature information to ECM.

ECM controls generating voltage by duty cycle based on these signals.
