DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Conditions for setting DTC Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Check CAN communication
  1. Open/Poor Connection in BCM*_"ON/START input"
  2. Short-to-Battery in BCM*_"ON/START input"
  3. Short-to-Ground in BCM*_"ON/START input"
Enable Conditions
  • Power voltage 9V~16V
  • B-CAN network is activing
  • B-CAN bus is normal
  • B-CAN bus is not Limp Home mode
  • B-CAN network monitoring is complete
Threshold Value
  • Mismatch between IG key signal of CGW* and IG key signal B-CAN data of IBU*_BCM*
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 sec
DTC Erasing Active DTC
  • Erased DTC after solved problem
History DTC
  • Can be erased by GDS
NOTE: CGW*  : "IGPM_GATEWAY"
IBU*  : "BCM"
BCM*  : "BCM"
