Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn "ON" the ignition switch.
  3. Check the "Current Data" about related DTC with GDS.

    Specification  :

    When hitting the switch, TCS/ESP (ESC) OFF warning lamp will respond and ESP OFF lamp will be ON.

  4. Does the parameter read correctly?

    YES 

    • Fault is intermittent, caused by poor connection in ESP OFF switch circuit and/or ESP (ESC)'s connector. Or, ESP (ESC) memory was not cleared after it was repaired. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
