Repair Procedures: Removal

  1. Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
  2. Remove the air-bag module.

    (Refer to "DRIVER AIRBAG (DAB) MODULE AND CLOCK SPRING ")

  3. Remove the steering wheel.

    (Refer to "STEERING WHEEL ")

  4. Remove the screw from in the steering wheel.

  5. Remove the steering back cover (A).

  6. Disconnect the heated steering connector (A).

  7. Remove the remote control switch (A) after loosening the screws.
