Verification of Vehicle Repair

After a repair, it is essential to verifying that the fault has been corrected.

  1. Connect a scan tool and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs)" mode.
  2. Using scantool, clear DTCs.
  3. Test the vehicle according to the DTC Enable conditions in General information.
  4. Are any DTCs present?

    YES 

    • System performing to specification at this time. Clear the DTC.

    NO 

    • Go to the applicable troubleshooting procedure.
