Monitor DTC Status
- Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)".
- IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
- Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)" with GDS.
- Monitor the diagnostic trouble code and present of the trouble code.
- Erase the DTC and operate the vehicle within DTC Enable conditions in General information.
- Is the DTC output again?
YES
- Substitute with a known-good IGPM*, check for proper operation.
→ Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Fault is intermittent caused by Poor Contact in CGW* connector.
→ Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NOTE: IGPM: "IGPM"
CGW*: "IGPM_GATEWAY" - Substitute with a known-good IGPM*, check for proper operation.
