DTC B1581-00: Ignition Switch Signal Error: General Description

CGW* is installed inside IGPM*. It enables communication between different networks in vehicle CAN networks. CGW* receives IG key CAN signal data from IBU*_BCM* and transfers the data to other networks within the vehicle. CGW* diagnoses failures by comparing its own IG key inputs and IG key CAN signal data from IBU*_BCM*.

NOTE: CGW*  (Central GateWay): "GATEWAY"
IGPM*  (Integrated Central control Unit, "GATEWAY"+"IPS CONTROL MODULE"): "IGPM"
IBU*  (Integrated Body control Unit, "BCM"+TPMS): "BCM"
