DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Open circuit monitoring (Switch circuit is short to battery).
  1. Short to power in ESC OFF switch circuit
  2. Defected ESC OFF switch
Enable Conditions
  • Normal battery voltage
Threshold Value
  • When the ESP (ESC/TCS) OFF switch is on for 1 minute.
Reset condition
  • Turn ignition switch off and on.
