Repair Procedures: Inspection

[Measuring Resistance] 

1. Remove the cruise control switch.

2. Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).

   Function switch	Terminal	Resistance [kΩ ± 5%]
   CANCEL	3 - 5	330Ω ± 5%
   SET -	3 - 5	550Ω ± 5%
   RES +	3 - 5	880Ω ± 5%
   CRUISE	3 - 5	1.4kΩ ± 5%

3. If not within specification, replace switch.
