Measuring Resistance

  1. Disconnect the cruise control switch connector from the control switch.

  2. Measure resistance between terminals on the control switch when each function switch is ON (switch is depressed).
    TERMINAL RESISTANCE SPECIFICATIONS

    Function Switch Terminal Resistance (kΩ)
    SET - 2 - 7 0.31 ~ 0.35
    RES + 2 - 7 0.52 ~ 0.58
    SCC 2 - 7 2.42 ~ 2.67
    CANCEL 2 - 7 0.17 ~ 0.19
    CRUISE 2 - 7 0.84 ~ 0.92
  3. If not within specification, replace switch.
