To provide the driver the rear of the vehicle, the backview camera receives the vehicle rearview image signal and displays the image on the AV head unit monitor or on the right side of the inside rearview mirror.

The backview camera is a supplementary device that show the blind spot of the rear of the vehicle.

If the gear is in R for more than 0.7 second, the backview camera opens and comes out, and the rearview image turns on within 0.5 second.

If the gear is shifted from R to P/N/D, the image turns off within 0.5 second.

If the gear is shifted from R to P/N/D, the backveiw camera closes after 10 seconds. The backview camera closes immediately if the ignition is off.
