Ground Circuit Inspection

■ Check open 

1. IG "OFF" & Disconnect fuel rail pressure sensor and PCM connector.
2. Measure resistance between ground terminal of fuel rail pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.

   Specification:  below 1 Ω

3. Is the measured resistance within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Component Inspection " procedure.

   NO 

   • Repair open or contact resistance in ground circuit of the fuel rail pressure sensor and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
