Signal Circuit Inspection

IG KEY "OFF".
Disconnect IATS connector.
IG KEY "ON" & ENG "OFF".
Measure voltage between signal terminal of IATS harness connector and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 5V

Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to Component Inspection procedure below.
NO
- Check for Open or Short in IATS circuit. Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
