Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)".
  2. IG key "ON", Engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)  " with GDS.
  4. Monitor the Diagnostic Trouble Code and present trouble code.
  5. Erase the DTC.

  6. Is the DTC outputted again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in "SMART JUNCTION BOX_IPS CONTROL MODULE" or "REAR PARKING ASSIST SENSOR LH" connector or was repaired and "IPS CONTROL MODULE" memory was not cleared.

      → Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration or damage.

      → Repair or replace as necessary. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
