DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • During Engine stop, check Engine-off timer start increment
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Unstable Power
  3. Faulty PCM
Enable Conditions
  • Engine stop and ignition switch is turned off
  • Battery voltage is between 5V and 16V
Threshold value
  • After 1 second of engine stop, engine-off timer is set to less than 2 seconds
Diagnosis Time
  • Immediate
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
