DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage range check
  1. Short to ground in signal harness
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
  3. Faulty IAT sensor
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • IAT voltage is lower than 0.11V.
  • Output voltage of IAT sensor represents short to ground.
Diagnostic Time
  • Continuous
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Drive Cycles
