Power Circuit Inspection

■ Check voltage (main relay) 

1. IG "OFF". Disconnect EMS box.
2. IG "ON"
3. Measure the voltage between power supply terminals of main relay (EMS box) harness connector and chassis ground

   Specification:  Approx. B+

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Check voltage (memory power)" as follows.

   NO 

   • Check the fuse between battery and main relay.
   • Repair open or short to ground in power harness. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Check voltage (memory power) 

1. IG "OFF". Disconnect PCM connector
2. IG "ON"
3. Measure voltage between memory power terminal of PCM harness connector and chassis ground

   Specification:  Approx. B+

4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

   YES 

   • Go to "Check open in harness" as follows.

   NO 

   • Check for open or short to ground in harness.
   • Check whether fuse is installed or blown off.
   • Repair or replace as necessary. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
