IG key "ON".
Perform "Current Data" procedure in the "Vehicle S/W Management" with GDS.
Slide the seat all the way to forward and backward by operating "Driver slide switch".

Monitor "Headrest motor" related parameters in the "Current Data" .

YES
- Check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
- Repair as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Check the seat movement restrain by obstacles.
- If the driver seat does not slide, substitute with a known-good "DRIVER SLIDE MOTOR" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "DRIVER SLIDE MOTOR" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- If the slide synchronized with headrest function does not operate, substitute with a known-good "DRIVER HEIGHT MOTOR" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "DRIVER HEIGHT MOTOR" and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
