DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  1. Body CAN Communication error between cluster and multi function switch
  2. Faulty SCC multi function switch
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Run (Engine RPM higher than 400 at least for 2s)
  • No low voltage/over voltage DTC
Threshold Value
  • When it receives SCC remote control switch fail message from cluster.
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuous (minimum fault detect time: 500ms)
Recover Condition
  • As soon as the message is received again
Fail Safe
  • SCC Disengagement/Shutdown
  • Red SCC warning lamp turns ON
