Variant Code Reset

  1. Make sure the condition of ECM/TCM/ESP (ESC) connected.
  2. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  3. IG "ON", and then select the model, system (ESP (ESC)).
  4. Click the Vehicle S/W Management button (Fig.3).
  5. Using GDS, Perform Variant Code Reset. (Fig.4).
  6. IG "OFF" and wait for about 10 seconds, and then IG "ON".
  7. IG "OFF" and wait for about 10 seconds again, and then, IG "ON".
  8. Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
