Power Circuit Inspection

■ Circuit open Inspection
1. Ignition off & Engine off.
2. Disconnected "ATM solenoid valve" connector and PCM/TCM connector.
3. Measure resistance between power of ATM solenoid valve connector and power of PCM TCM connector.
  Specification: Approx. 0 Ω

4. Is the measured resistance within specification?
  YES
  - Go to " CIRCUIT SHORT INSPECTION" procedure.
  NO
  - Check circuit open of power and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
■ Circuit short Inspection
1. Ignition off & Engine off.
2. Disconnected "ATM solenoid valve connector and PCM/TCM connector.
3. Measure a resistance between power of ATM solenoid valve connector and chassis ground.
  Specification: Infinite

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?
  YES
  - Substitute with a known-good PCM/TCM and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace PCM/TCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
  NO
  - Check harness for circuit short. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
