DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Case1 DTC Strategy
  • Heater current check
  1. Poor connection
  2. Open or Short to ground in power circuit
  3. Open in control circuit
  4. B1/S2
Enable Conditions
  • Temp (EGT around Upstream O2S (model)): 662°F (350° C) ~ 1022°F (550°C)
  • IAT is higher than 19.4°F(-7°C)
  • B+ volt: 10.7V ~ 16.1V
Threshold Value
  • Internal resistance is higher than threshold f (cat. temp., heater power)
Diagnostic Time
  • 6 sec

  • Power stage diagnosis
