Blind Spot Detection Radar Calibration

To sense the cars exactly in the next lane with the radar, the direction of the sensor and the direction of the vehicle have to align.

This is BSD unit alignment. If this alignment is not performed as shown in illustration, the degradation of detection performance and the cause of false alarms.

The rear bumper accident vehicle and after replacing the BSD unit vehicle have to do this align especially.

  1. The rear bumper accident vehicle and after replacing the BSD unit vehicle have to do BSD unit alignment using GDS.
  2. Select "BSD Radar Calibration" procedure in BSD system.

  3. Perform the "BSD Radar Calibration" procedure according to the GDS screen message.
