Monitoring DTC Status

  1. Vehicle Parked & Ignition ON.
  2. Connect GDS and select "DTC Analysis" mode.
  3. Click "DTC Status" on the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  menu bar to see DTC's information.
  4. Confirm that "DTC Readiness Flag" indicates "COMPLETED". If not, drive the vehicle within conditions noted in the freeze frame data or enable conditions.
  5. Read "DTC Status" parameter.

  6. Is parameter displayed "Present fault"?

    YES 

    • Check DTCs in cluster system. If there is a code related to SCC remote control switch, Repair according to DTC diagnostic guide of cluster system. Repair or replace faulty item, and then verify that C1632 code is cleared. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or SCC's connector or was repaired and SCC memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, ending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
