General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN Communication Check
  1. Passenger side PODS-F sensor Mat & ECU Communication line (CAN Line).
  2. Poor connection of connected part.
  3. Faulty Passenger side PODS-F sensor Mat & ECU.
  4. Faulty SRSCM.
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition "ON"
Threshold Value
  • CAN High and Low Line short to ground coincident
  • CAN High and Low Line short to battery coincident
Diagnostic Time Qualification
  • More than 0.9~1.1 sec
De-Qualification
  • More than 0.1~0.2 sec
