Ground Circuit Inspection

Check open
1. IG "OFF" & Disconnect fuel rail pressure sensor and PCM connector.
2. Measure resistance between ground terminal of fuel rail pressure sensor harness connector and chassis ground.
  Specification: below 1Ω

3. Is the measured resistance within specification?
  YES
  - Go to "COMPONENT INSPECTION " procedure.
  NO
  - Repair open or contact resistance in ground circuit of the fuel rail pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
