Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Remove the passenger seat assembly.
(Refer to REPAIR PROCEDURES .
- Disconnect the yaw rate & lateral G sensor connector (A).
- Remove the mounting bolts (B).
Tightening torque:
3.9 ~ 5.9 N.m (0.4 ~ 0.6 kgf.m, 2.9 ~ 4.3 lb-ft)
- Installation is the reverse of removal.
- longitudinal G sensor Calibration
- IG ON, ENG OFF
- Stand the vehicle on a flat ground without any inclination.
- Set the steering wheel at the center position.
- Keep the vehicle under normal tire pressure condition and normal loading condition.
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Perform Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration. (Fig 2.
- Confirm success or failure of calibration.
