DESCRIPTION
This bulletin describes the procedure to verify that the fuse and jumper settings for the Remote Engine Start Control Module are set for the applicable vehicle, and if necessary, how to make adjustments to these settings.

SERVICE PROCEDURE
- Remove the DNA Module (cover) from the Remote Engine Start Control Module assembly.
- Verify that the fuses in the Remote Engine Start Control Module are installed per the fuse and jumper reference drawing.NOTE: The images represent examples and actual settings may vary according to the specific vehicle. Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE of this TSB for the appropriate settings according to the applicable vehicle.
- If necessary, pull the fuse(s) out and reposition according to the fuse and jumper reference drawing for the applicable vehicle.CAUTION: Do not damage the fuse when handling. Verify that the fuse is in good condition prior to reinstallation.
- Verify that the location of the repositioned fuse(s) matches the fuse and jumper reference drawing, and confirm that each fuse is securely reinstalled in the Remote Engine Start Control Module.
- Remove the warning label covering the jumpers and verify that the jumpers in the Remote Engine Start Control Module are installed per the fuse and jumper reference drawing.NOTE: The images represent examples and actual settings may vary according to the specific vehicle. Refer to SERVICE PROCEDURE of this TSB for the appropriate settings according to the applicable vehicle.
- If necessary, pull the jumper(s) out and reposition according to the fuse and jumper reference drawing for the applicable vehicle.CAUTION: Do not damage the jumper when handling. Verify that the jumper is in good condition prior to reinstallation. Ensure that the jumper is reinstalled in the correct orientation.
- Verify that the location of the repositioned jumper(s) matches the fuse and jumper reference drawing, and confirm that each jumper is securely reinstalled within the Remote Engine Start Control Module in the correct orientation.CAUTION: Ensure that the jumper is reinstalled in the correct orientation.
- Reinstall the DNA module (cover) on the Remote Engine Start Control Module.
- Test Remote Engine Start system for proper operation. (Function Check)
