Power Circuit Inspection
- Check voltage (main relay)
- IG "OFF". Disconnect EMS box.
- IG "ON"
- Measure the voltage between power supply terminals of main relay (EMS box) harness connector and chassis ground
Specification : Approx. B+
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to " 2 Check voltage (memory power)" as follows.
NO
- Check the fuse between battery and main relay.
- Repair open or short to ground in power harness. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
- Check voltage (memory power)
- IG "OFF". Disconnect PCM connector
- IG "ON"
- Measure voltage between memory power terminal of PCM harness connector and chassis ground
Specification : Approx. B+
- Is the measured voltage within specification?
YES
- Go to " 2 Check open in harness" as follows.
NO
- Check for open or short to ground in harness.
- Check whether fuse is installed or blown off.
- Repair or replace as necessary. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
