Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Ignition efficiency check
  1. Checking ECT VALVE opening and closing
Enable Conditions
  • Coolant temp. is higher than 15.8°F and lower than 90°F
  • Vehicle speed is lower than 1.9MPH.
  • 5 sec after engine start
  • Catalyst heating is operating.
Threshold Value
  • Ignition angle efficiency quotient is higher than 0.2
Diagnostic Time
  • 20sec
Mil On Condition
  • two trips
