General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Monitoring of Temperature and Current of battery
  1. Open or short in harness
  2. Faulty battery sensor
  3. Poor connection
Enable Conditions
  • Alternator Management System (Analog battery sensor type)
  • The battery voltage is higher than 9V and lower than 19V.
  • Not engine cranking
Threshold value
  • When the sensor signal of battery voltage is lower than 0.25V or higher than 4.85V.
  • When the sensor signal of battery temperature is lower than 0.2V or higher than 4.85V.
Diagnosis Time
  • 20 sec
MIL On Condition
  • MIL off
