DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Detects a continuous short to battery in either the signal circuit or the fuel level sender B
  • Poor connection
  • Open or short to battery in Circuit
  • Faulty Fuel Level sender B
  • Faulty PCM

  • Engine Running
Threshold value
  • Raw fuel level sensor output > 9.8 V

MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
