DTC DETECTING CONDITION CHART

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit Range/performance
  • Circuit short or open
  • Shift range signal error
  • PCM/TCM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage > 10 V
  • Engine speed > 1500 RPM
Threshold value
  • TR switch Invalid range signal
Detecting Time
  • More than 10 sec
Fail safe
  • Normal status: All position possible
  • Abnormal status: Above 3rd position possible (3rd ~ 6th possible, 1st/2nd impossible)
