General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • CAN message monitoring
  • Body CAN communication error between cluster and multi function switch
  • Faulty SCC multi function switch
Enable Conditions
  • Engine Run (engine rpm higher than 400 at least for 2s)
Threshold value
  • SCC remote control switch fail message is received from cluster
Diagnosis Time
  • Immediately
Recover Condition
  • As soon as the message is received again
Fail Safe
  • Red SCC warning lamp turns on
