DTC DETECTING CONDITION

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Stuck open
  1. Short to ground in Closing Control Circuit
  2. Open in Opening Control Circuit
  3. Carbon or foreign objects
  4. Poor connection or damaged harness
  5. Faulty VCMA
Enable Conditions
  • Port position set-point: Closeded for more than 1 sec.
  • No relevant DTCs
  • 11V < Battery Voltage < 16V
Threshold Value
  • 0.12 volt < port position feedback < 2.23 volt
Diagnostic Time
  • 0.2 sec.
MIL On Condition
  • 2 driving cycle
