Monitor GDS Data
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC)
- IG ON
- Press the ESC switch.
- Monitor the "ESC switch" parameter on the GDS.
Specification: ESC switch parameter changed ON / OFF stats.
- Whenever the switch is pushed, is the ESC off switch's GDS data changed ON/OFF?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in HECU's connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared.
Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection in HECU's connector or was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared.
