DTC B1328: FIS (Front Impact Sensor)-Driver Defect: General Description
The Front Impact Sensor (FIS), located at both sides of the front of engine room, detects head-on collision.
When FIS delivers collision signal to SRSCM, the SRSCM checks if safing sensor (located in SRSCM) detects collision. If both the FIS and safing sensor detect collision simultaneously, the SRSCM deploys the front airbag.
