General Information: DTC Detecting Condition

DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND POSSIBLE CAUSE

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Range Check
  • Open or short circuit to battery
  • Poor connection or damaged harness
  • Faulty OTS
Enable Conditions
  • Time after Start (if coolant temperature < -10°C) >5 min.
Threshold Value
  • Oil temperature < -36°C(-33°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 5 seconds
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
