Power Supply Circuit Inspection

■ Motor Power circuit Inspection 

1. Check for open in harness
   1. Ignition "OFF"
   2. Disconnect front height motor.
   3. Measure resistance between terminal "B3" of IMS and terminal "5" of front height motor.
   4. Measure resistance between terminal "B8" of IMS and terminal "2" of front height motor.

      Specification  : Approx. 0 Ω

   5. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to  2 "Check for short in harness" procedure.

   NO 

   • Check for open in motor power harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
2. Check for short in harness
   1. Ignition "OFF"
   2. Disconnect front height motor.
   3. Measure resistance between terminal "2" of front height motor and chassis ground
   4. Measure resistance between terminal "5" of front height motor and chassis ground

      Specification  : Approx. ∞ Ω

   5. Is the measured resistance within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to  1 Sensor Power circuit Inspection procedure.

   NO 

   • Check for short in power harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

■ Sensor Power circuit Inspection 

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Disconnect front height motor.
3. Measure voltage between terminal "3" of front height motor and chassis ground

   Specification  : Approx. 5V

4. Is the measured voltage within specifications?

   YES 

   • Go to "GROUND CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.

   NO 

   • Check for open or short in harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
