Signal Circuit Inspection

Check for short in harness
1. Ignition "OFF".
2. Disconnect mirror folding switch.
3. Measure resistance between terminal "8" of DDM and chassis ground.
  Specification : Approx. ∞ Ω

4. Is the measured resistance within specifications?
  YES
  
  Go to "POWER SUPPLY CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.
  
  NO
  
  Check for short in signal harness. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
