Ground Circuit Inspection

  1. Key "OFF".
  2. Disconnect FTPS harness connector.
  3. Key "ON".
  4. Measure the voltage between terminal 1 of FTPS harness connector and chassis ground. (A)
  5. Measure the voltage between terminal 1 and 2 of FTPS harness connector. (B)

    Specification: A-B is below 200mV.

  6. Is the measured voltage within specification ?

    YES  : --> Go to "SIGNAL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure.

    NO  : --> Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
