Check Can Communication Line For Open

  1. Ignition "OFF"
  2. Disconnect ECM harness connector.
  3. Measure resistance between terminals 36 and 37 of the ECM harness connector.

    Specification: Approx. 110~130Ω

  4. Is resistance within the specification?

    YES  : --> Go to next step as below.

    NO  : --> Check for open in wiring related to the CAN communication. Repair as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
