Reference Ground Circuit Inspection
- Ignition "OFF"
- Disconnect HO2S harness connector
- Ignition "ON" & Eng. "OFF"
- Measure voltage between terminal "2" of HO2 sensor harness connector (B1S1, B1S2, B2S1 & B2S2) and chassis ground.
Specification: Approx. 0.5V
- Is the measured voltage within specifications?
YES:
- Reconnect the connector and go to next step as below
NO:
- Check for open circuit between PCM (14C121 -D) and HO2S (B1 S1, B1 S2, B2S1 & B2S2) or short circuit to ground in harness.
- Repair or replace as necessary. And then, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
