Ground Circuit Inspection

Ignition "OFF"
Reconnect multi-function switch harness connector
Disconnect PCM harness connector
Measure resistance between terminal 19 of the PCM harness connector and chassis ground
Specification: Approx. 0Ω
Is resistance within the specification?
YES:
- Go to "CONTROL CIRCUIT INSPECTION " procedure
NO:
- Check for an open or short to ground in the power circuit. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
