Control Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "ON" & Eng. "OFF"
  2. Measure the voltage between terminal 14 of the PCM harness connector and chassis ground. Refer to specification as below

    Specification:

    Approx. 0~1V while Cancel SW is ON

    Approx. 1~3V while Set SW is ON

    Approx. 3~4V while Resume SW is ON

    Approx. 5V while all switches are OFF

  3. Is voltage within the specification?

    YES:  

    • Go to next step as below

    NO:  

    • Possibility of control circuit or component malfunction. Check open or short in the control circuit. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure. If OK, go to next step as below.
