ETACS Module Input Signal Test: Notes

  1. Disconnect the wire connector(B) from the ETACS module(A).
  2. Inspect the connector(B) on wire harness side as shown in Fig 1.

    Terminals No. Test condition Standard value
    A18-A16 (GND) Door switch "ON"
    (Door opened)    		 Below 1Ω
    Door switch "OFF"
    (Door closed)    		 1MΩ or higher
    A10-A16 (GND) Luggage compartment door switch "ON"
    (Luggage compartment door opened)    		 Below 1Ω
    Luggage compartment door switch "OFF"
    (Luggage compartment door closed)    		 1MΩ or higher
    C7-A16 (GND) Engine hood switch "ON"
    (Engine hood opened)    		 Below 1Ω
    Engine hood switch "OFF"
    (Engine hood closed)    		 1MΩ or higher
    A8-A16 (GND) Driver's door switch "ON"
    (Driver's door opened)    		 Below 1Ω
    Driver's door switch "OFF"
    (Driver's door closed)    		 1MΩ or higher
    A9-A16 (GND) Assist door switch "ON"
    (Assist door opened)    		 Below 1Ω
    Assist door switch "OFF"
    (Assist door closed)    		 1MΩ or higher
    B2-A16 (GND) Door warning switch "ON"
    (Key inserted)    		 Battery voltage
    Door warning switch "OFF"
    (Key removed)    		 Below 1V
    C10-A16 (GND) Trunk key unlock switch "ON"
    (Trunk lid is unlocked with key)    		 Below 1Ω
    Trunk key unlock switch "OFF" 1MΩ or higher
    A1-A16 (GND) Always Battery voltage
    A6-A16 (GND) Ignition switch is turned to "ON" position Battery voltage
    B5-A16 (GND) Driver's door lock switch "ON"
    (Driver's door unlock detection)    		 Below 1Ω
    Driver's door lock switch "OFF"
    (Driver's door lock detection)    		 1MΩ or higher
    B6-A16 (GND) Assist door lock switch "ON"
    (Assist door unlock detection)    		 Below 1Ω
