Component Inspection
- Check OCV.
- IG "OFF"
- Disconnect OCV connector.
- Measure resistance between terminal 1 and 2 of OCV harness connector. (Component Side)OIL CONTROL VALVE SPECIFICATION
Temp. Coil Resistance 20 °C (68°F) 6.9 ~ 7.9Ω - Is the measured resistance within specification ?
YES : --> Substitute with a known - good ECM/PCM and check for proper operation.
--> If the problem is corrected, replace ECM/PCM and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO : --> Substitute with a known - good OCV and check for proper operation.
--> If the problem is corrected, replace OCV and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
