Signal Circuit Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Disconnect "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" and "TCM (PCM)" connector.
  3. Measure resistance between each terminal of the sensor harness connector and TCM (PCM) harness connector as below.

    Specification:

    TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH PIN NO SPECIFICATION (2.7L)

    Pin No of "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" C08 No1 C08 No3 C08 No4 C08 No7
    Pin No of "TCM(PCM)" harness C24-3 No17 C24-3 No5 C24-3 No6 C24-3 No16
    Specification 0Ω 0Ω 0Ω 0Ω
    TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH PIN NO SPECIFICATION (2.0L)

    Pin No of "TRANSAXLE RANGE SWITCH" C108 No1 C108 No3 C108 No4 C108 No7

  4. Is resistance within specifications?

    YES 

    NO
